After Mees invited Thomas to his own event, ‘Distant at the Beach,’ and a few encounters at various shows, they decided to meet up in the studio.

They quickly found common ground between Helsloot’s grooves and Mees’s melodies. ‘Solace’ was born in a single day and premiered during a back-to-back DJ set on a train ride at Amsterdam Dance Event.
